In July 1975, Late. Mr. M.N Azeem, (Administrative Head of India’s famous La Martiniere College, Lucknow) spearheaded a scheme and sowed the seed of an institution, in the backward town of Unnao. This was the first step towards the foundation of the first English Medium School in the town. At the administrative meeting, it was unanimously decided to pledge the institution to some Holy Saint acceptable by everyone and therefore under the title of “St. Jude’s”, our college came into existence.
The College within a span of a few years transformed from Nursery to Jr. School, Jr. School to Highschool and Highschool to full-fledged College which now enjoys the everlasting blessings from the Council for the ISC Examinations, New Delhi. Over the years, with the prescribed requirements from the Council, the schools’ infrastructure has been set in order with well-equipped Science Labs, Computer Labs and Library to impart quality education at the 10+2 level.

Family legacy can be traced back to Miya Machu who was the Lord Chamberlain and and Assistant Engineer to the British Government and who was a part of the foundation and construction team of landmark places like Vidhan Sabha, Governor House, CDRI, La Martiniere College and many more historic monuments in Awadh.

students to believe in themselves and keep trying till they attained their goals. He believed in the
transforming power of education and realised that if you want to contribute to nation building
and uplift the society, education is the only way. Therefore, with the same conviction and

True knowledge does not confine to the realms of academic intelligence, it also lies in values like national integrity, honesty, respect, empathy, tolerance and curiosity.
